Die perfekte Harmonie von Wein und Speisen

Vor einigen Tagen hatten wir Freunde eingeladen, um an einem schönen Sommerabend ein ausgedehntes Mahl auf unserer sonnigen Terrasse zu geniessen. Da ich mehr Wein kaufe als ich konsumiere, ist diese Frage wohl nicht ganz unberechtigt.

Sie sollten mich jetzt allerdings nicht für einen fanatischen Weinkäufer oder gar für einen verkappten Alkoholiker halten. Selbstverständlich liebe ich es, einen meiner Schätze auszuwählen und zu verkosten. Noch grössere Freude bereitet es mir allerdings, die Begeisterung im Gesicht meiner Gäste angesichts des von mir ausgewählten Weins zu sehen.

Vor einigen Tagen habe ich mich also in den Keller begeben und die Weine ausgewählt, die am besten zu den Gerichten passen würden, die meine Frau zubereitet hatte. Nach einigem Nachdenken fiel meine Wahl auf eine Flasche Merlot, eine Flasche Prosecco und eine Flasche Chardonnay. Und was soll ich Ihnen sagen: Es wurde ein gelungener Abend.
